Stockton Redevelopment 3D Visualisation
We are currently working with Arup alongside Stockton Borough Council to create a series of 3D visualisation work to showcase the new £38million redevelopment scheme – Rediscover Stockton.
Our 3D Visualisation work has helped with making key decisions throughout the project as well as giving the residents of Stockton a preview of how their town centre is going to be improved. As part of the project Thumb have produced a fly-through animation which gives a really good insight into the new look High Street and the new Market Place.

The Next Phase of BAE Systems Digital Training
Thumb Design are about to embark on the next phase of the immersive training software designed for BAE and used by the MOD over the last ten years.
In 2003 we were commissioned by BAE Systems to develop a training system for the operation of and fault-finding in the Engineering Tank Systems (ETS) vehicles – Titan (Bridge Layer) and Trojan (Excavator). Our immersive training solution has been being used by the Army for nearly ten years, allowing trainees to learn procedures without requiring access to vehicle or equipment and to simulate faults which wouldn’t be desirable on the vehicle.

Ten Icon Versions. 04. Design Newcastle.
To celebrate ten years in design we are producing ten versions of our new logo. This is version four which represents Design Newcastle. We are proud of our home and to have been producing design for clients here in Newcastle and all over the UK and worldwide. The image captures our street – Westgate Road, bathed in early morning sunshine.
