Bringing a company mascot to life.
Our friends over at Guerilla needed to produce a series of adverts for Rowlands Pharmacy. The short ads were to appear before programmes shown on the CBS Reality and CBS Drama channels. They needed to show ‘Rowland’ the brand mascot presenting various products.
Thumb worked from illustrations of ‘Rowland’ to create him as a 3D model to allow him to walk and move. He was then animated to walk on to the screen and present the different products to the viewers.
Thumb helped us make ‘Rowland the Owl’ become a living and breathing character. The adverts were really well received and our client Rowlands Pharmacy were over the moon with how ‘Rowland’ was brought to life. ”
